Marcos Neris is a 2020 C/1B, 3B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Patillas, PR who attends Guamaní Private School. Medium frame with some strength present to his build. Ran a 7.49 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, worked out behind the plate with a high set position while bending at the waist, receives the ball out in front, has a quick transfer from mitt to hand, could gain more ground into his throw downs for more potential arm strength, topped out at 73 mph from behind the plate. Switch hitter, shows more barrel control from the right side and additional pop from the left, righthanded swing has a long path through the zone with a lift to his swing path, lefthanded swing starts with an open stance, meets the ball out in front with a pull side approach and power potential.
