Tyler Wulfert is a 2020 SS/IF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Farmington, NM who attends Piedra Vista. Large frame with athletic, lean build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.78 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with simple shift into contact, gets hips involved and drives well, fluid and loose swing with whippy barrel, covers the plate well and can impact the ball in any direction, consistent barrel with jump off, will drive the ball more as he continues to gain strength, good offensive performance in this event. Worked out in the infield, shows lateral agility, has linear twitch, hands work out front for the most part, good arm strength, full windup into release, clocked up to 87 mph on throws across. Excellent student, named to 2020 West Uncommitted Showcase Top Prospect List.
