Derek Dascoulias is a 2019 RHP/OF with a 6-3 165 lb. frame from Albany, NH who attends Kennett. Medium frame with very projectable, athletic build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.90 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, deeply hooked arm stroke through the back, gathers well over rubber, quick arm coming through to three quarters slot, short closed stride downhill, creates good angle to plate, fastball worked 79-83 mph with good arm side life. Very good feel for frisbee slider, sharpness to break, gets chase swings with it, also flashed changeup at times. Good upside on the mound. Hits with inside-out swing path, hands locked inside through stroke, line drive swing plane with opposite field approach, executed approach well. Worked out in the outfield, reads hops well, breaks down to field, lower slot release on throws, clocked up to 78 mph.
