Collin Cowie is a 2021 RHP/ with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Friendswood, TX who attends Friendswood. Recorded a 7.39 second sixty-yard dash time. Medium, compact frame with athletic look and some present lower half strength. Primary right-handed pitcher with quick paced delivery, drop and drive lower half mechanics and a high three-quarters arm slot. Fastball worked in the low-to-mid 80s, topping out at 87 miles per hour and flashing riding life through the zone when in sync. Developing command of the strike zone with ability to miss barrels and get outs when in the zone consistently. Flashed shorter breaking ball that varied between slider and cutter action, disrupting timing when thrown with conviction. Tough competitor with present arm speed that will improve with refinements of mechanics and simplification of delivery. Good Student.
