Josiah Lewis is a 2021 OF/RHP with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from The Colony, TX who attends Legacy Christian Academy. Medium lean athletic build, projects very well physically. 6.93 runner, has loose athletic actions in the outfield, makes accurate on line throws with projectable arm strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall open stance with a busy hand load, has quick hands and creates bat speed, strong enough to get the ball to jump off the barrel, has some pop to the middle of the field. Also pitched, uses his lower half well, high 3/4's arm slot, upper and lower body work well together. Fastball topped out at 83 mph, has good life and works it to both sides with intent. Hard sweeping breaking ball has tight spin and big shape at times and is a swing and miss pitch. Developing change up. Quality athlete who is strong in all aspects of the game and really projects physically. Good student.
