Sean Donahue is a 2022 C/3B with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Durham, NC who attends Durham Academy. Compact frame with strength to the build. Ran a 7.45 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, worked out behind the dish with true game actions, works quick to the hand and replaces feet well into throws with carry and accuracy to the bag. Righthanded hitter, sets up spread and transfers weight well, uses a calm and simple approach to contact with a long and loose swing on a slightly uphill path, extends well through contact and creates good jump with carry off the barrel when squared. Very good student. Named to 2020 Atlantic Coast Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
