Jayden Salcido is a 2019 OF/2B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Midland, TX who attends Permian HS. Lean and wiry athletic build. Left handed hitter hits from a spread straight stance with a lift and replace load, short and quick contact swing, shows quick wrists and some ability to drive the ball when he turns on it, handles the barrel very well and makes consistent hard contact. 6.94 runner, played both outfield and infield, moves well to the ball and has fluid athletic actions at both positions, arm strength is limited at present, second base/left field tools. Good student.
