Reece Anderson is a 2019 OF/RHP with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Johnston, IA who attends Johnston. Medium and skinny frame with room to fill. Ran a 6.76 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, attacks the baseball well, high energy actions with a longer release, plenty of athleticism throughout actions, solid arm topping out at 83 mph from the outfield, has been up to 88 from the outfield in the past. Secondary righthanded pitcher, works exclusively from the stretch, takes arm back to a full arm action up to a high ¾ arm slot, drop and drive actions landing closed off to the plate as he comes downhill, fastball is straight and topped out at 84 mph, mixed in a curveball with 12-to-6 bite out of his hand. Righthanded hitter, sets up with a high hand set and a high back elbow, leg lift trigger into swing with an arm bar at load, inside hand path to the baseball, works primarily to the opposite field.
