Armen Laylagian is a 2023 C/3B with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Hopkinton, NH who attends Hopkinton. Large frame with a physical build showing strength throughout. Ran a 8.12 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher, side saddle to start during drills. Reaching for the baseball at times. Quick catch and release getting it out of hand with urgency. Accurate around the bag with a pop time of 2.06 seconds during drills. Secondary Third Baseman, sitting back on the baseball doing a good job keeping the play in front of him. Gathers out front and works into transfer. Accurate across the diamond with throws up to 78 mph. Right-Handed Hitter, slightly narrow to start with pinched knees. Creates separation while striding out landing in a good hitting stance. Lofted cut as he looks to lift deep to the pull-side gap. Some pop in the swing present when he times it up properly.
