Zach Lydon is a 2021 RHP/1B, 3B, OF with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Dublin, CA who attends Dublin. Large physical frame with present strength. Primary right handed pitcher, has a longer arm action from a three-quarters to high three-quarters arm slot. Works towards the third base line with his motion making his window tough for right-handed hitters. 79-82 mph fastball lives around the zone and possesses some slight cutting actions when located across body. Works down the mound with a low front side. Mixes in a 12-to-6 shaped curveball along with a 66 mph sinking changeup or split change with solid tumbling actions. Changeup is a plus pitch when located down in the zone. At first base, is meticulous with his glove work and stays in front of the baseball well. At the plate, uses a narrow and slightly open stance with a low leg lift trigger. Uphill barrel plane through the zone with a very deep hand load. Present strength in his hands with plus pop to all fields. At his best when using the middle of the field. Good student in the classroom as well.
