Rydge Ishii is a 2020 OF/RHP/IF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Hilo, HI who attends Kamehameha Schools Hawaii Campus. Large frame with a stocky build. Ran a 7.15 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary outfielder. Clean exchanges into a strong crow hop. Long arm action in back with a strong arm and carry to the bag topping out at 86 miles per hour. Also worked out on the infield. Rounds the ball well with momentum through exchange. Fluid actions especially to the glove side. High three-quarters slot with accurate and online carry to the bag. Righthanded hitter with an aggressive swing and good bat speed. Good jump off the barrel when squared up. Righthanded pitcher with a compact delivery. Good balance throughout and stays in line down the mound. Mixes well. Pretty straight fastball topping out 81 miles per hour. Looping 11-to-5 curveball getting some swing and miss. Very good student as well.
