Sawyer Allen is a 2022 LHP/1B with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Platte City, MO who attends Platte County. Lean, athletic build. A primary LHP, he throws from a over the top arm slot. Works out of the wind-up with a high leg lift and a online stride down the slope. His FB topped out at 82 mph and sat 78-82 with some late arm side run to it as well as some life through the zone that was able to miss bats. Showed a deep 1/7 CB that flashed bite and tightness as well as some feel for landing it in the zone. Maintained FB arm speed when throwing the CH to add some deception. Also a great student in the classroom.
