Tyler Wood is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Lees Summit, MO who attends Lees Summit West. Outstanding athletic build with length and some present strength and more to come. Has a balanced and athletic delivery with a clean and fast arm stroke, ball comes out of his hand easily. Fastball topped out at 94 mph, more velocity there as he matures, locates his fastball well to the glove side, has advanced fastball metrics with 20" plus IVB and some horizontal as well. Slider was a solid second pitch, gyro shape and lateness and is located well. Still developing his change up but kills spin effectively. High level athlete with a very projectable arm. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Tennessee.
