Carlos Samuel Marquez Ciavaldini is a 2020 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Reagan HS. Long and lean high waisted build, lots of physical projection. 3/4's arm slot, creates good angle to the plate, loose and fast arm, ball comes out of his hand clean and easy, still learning to control his young body during delivery and develop consistency in his mechanics. Mid-80's fastball, topped at 87 mph, plenty more in there with time and strength, gets some cutting action when his front side opens early. Threw both curveball and sldier, curveball flashes some 11/5 depth at times. Young clean arm with lots of potential. 7.30 runner, long and loose actions in the outfield with good raw arm strength. Right handed hitter, long and loose swing, big barrel wrap creates some lag through the zone, mid field to opposite field contact. Good student.
