Alejandro Brito is a 2021 C/OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Indio, CA who attends Xavier College Preparatory. Compact frame with present strength to the build. Ran a 7.07 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, worked out behind the dish with loose and athletic actions, works through the ball well gaining good ground, has a longer arm action but gets rid of it quickly generating strong low and accurate throws to the bag. Right-handed hitter, set up slightly open with bent knees. Works short to the ball with good bat speed generating great jump off the barrel on a slightly lifted swing plane. Has intriguing overall tools in the box that project well as an offensive-first backstop. Good student.
