Easton Hernandez is a 2020 3B/OF with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Odessa, TX who attends Odessa HS. Recorded a 6.88 second 60-yard dash time. Strong build and frame with well-proportioned size throughout. Primary third baseman with a quick release and arm strength recorded up to 82 mph across the diamond. Deliberate actions to both sides and works through the ball well with a loose arm stroke and projects for more. Primary righthanded hitter with a wide base and a high leg kick. Rotates his hips well with a flat bat path and gets his weight on the backside properly throughout the load. Good strength and impact off the barrel and has good present bat speed. Impact strength and good power to the pull side when timed up but can quiet mechanical quirks for more consistent contact. Good student.
