Clayton Boroski is a 2021 RHP/3B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Saint Cloud, FL who attends St. Cloud. Well proportioned athletic build, has done a good job firming up his body. Hanging leg lift delivery, stays balanced well over the rubber, gets his hips turned well to help generate power to the plate, full on line arm swing in back that hides the ball well, high 3/4's release, gets some angle to the plate. Steady mid-80's fastball, moves his fastball around the zone with intent to all four quadrants. Gets good power to his curveball with 11/5 shape, flashes sharp biting action and has feel for the pitch, got some very weak swings on his curveball. Straight change up with good arm speed and tunneling. Solid three-pitch mix with the ability to throw strikes with all three pitches. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a low hand set, small weight shift forward, has some hand speed, best when he's turning on the ball and driving his hands. 7.10 runner, third base tools on defense. Excellent student. Named to the Sunshine East Showcase Top Prospect List.
