Cody Nitowitz is a 2023 OF/MIF with a 5-11 147 lb. frame from Carlsbad, CA who attends Cathedral Catholic. Medium slender build with a ton of room to fill into as he continues to develop, posted a 6.90 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary outfielder, moves well into the gap as well as down the line. Dos a great job of tracking down fly balls. Short arm action with a quick transfer. Gets rid of the ball quickly. In the infield, is meticulous with his reads off the bat and stays in front of the ball well. At the plate, is a switch hitter and uses a similar stance from both sides of the plate. Narrow and upright stance, slightly more open from the left side. Works his hands through the middle of the diamond from the right side of the plate. Middle of the field approach, power toold from both sides will improve nicely alongside his build. Excellent student in the classroom as well.
