Justin Torres is a 2018 MIF/ with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from San Bruno, CA who attends St. Francis. Medium frame with solid present build, body projects well. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.26 seconds. Switch-hitter, compact and easy stroke from left side with good barrel skills, rotates quickly with twitchy hips, some slash to bat path, good contact skill. Gets hips more involved from right side, short path to ball again with good barrel skills, showed more pop from right side. Worked out in the infield, athletic and composed lower body mechanics with excellent footwork, smooth transfers with clean hands, highly accurate throws with arm strength clocked up to 80 mph. Good student.
