Will Bednar is a 2019 RHP with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Valencia, PA who attends Mars Area HS. Big and thick build, very strong look. High energy delivery with a compact arm action that hides the ball very well, very fast arm coming through, high 3/4's arm slot, developing consistency in his release and mechanics. Fastball topped out at 94, straight at some times, very good sink at others. Throws a short breaking cutter/slider, still developing feel for it. Better present feel for a change up with some fading action. Reliever profile with very good raw arm strength, developing his breaking ball will be key for him. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Ohio State.
