Owen Wild is a 2020 RHP/3B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Gig Harbor, WA who attends Gig Harbor HS. Nice pitcher's build with broad shoulders and well proportioned strength. Limited lower 1/2 turn in his delivery, can get more consistent direction in his delivery, pretty simple overall mechanics, 3/4's arm slot. Very consistent upper 70's fastball, still 77-79 mph in his fourth inning of work, fastball mostly straight but will get big arm side running action at times, getting more fastball movement will be important in the future. Nice curveball with good 11/5 shape and some tightness, curveball was his most effective pitch. Threw strikes with both his pitches and command improved the more he threw. Very good chance to keep improving as he matures physically.
