Wade Chandler is a 2018 OF/2B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Apex, NC who attends Middle Creek HS. Recorded a 6.75 second 60-yard dash time and runs well in game as well. Lean and athletic frame with present twitch and room for additional strength. Primary outfielder with very quick feet and athletic actions. Very good arm strength, recorded up to 87 mph, and feet work well through the throwing motion. Deliberate actions and fields out in front; solid fundamentals across the board. Lefthanded hitter with a slightly open stance and a wide base. High hand set with a high back elbow and natural loft to the swing path. Utilizes lower half well to create good drive from the rear leg. Gets extended well through the point of contact and can create line drive contact to all fields. Named to the 2017 Atlantic Coast Top Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List. Tremendous student.
