William Atwell is a 2020 OF/RHP with a 6-0 140 lb. frame from Charlotte, NC who attends Charlotte Latin HS. Recorded a 7.50 second 60-yard dash time. Lean and wiry frame with plenty of room for additional strength and physical projection. Primary outfielder who attacks the ball and has smooth fielding actions. Online throws with good carry. Quick exchange and release with arm strength recorded up to 81 mph. Sure actions and steps to the baseball with accurate throws. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a smooth paced delivery. Drives well off the back side and has a short, online stride down the mound. Loose arm action with a three-quarter arm slot. Fastball was true in terms of life and flashed cut to the glove side. 11/5 shape on the curveball and threw the pitch for strikes. Lefthanded hitter with an upright, balanced stance. Simple hand path to contact and a simple leg lift trigger. Line drive swing plan through the point of extension. Looking to drive the ball up the middle. High hand set with a high back elbow and an short path to contact. Wide base to start and has a spray approach. Tremendous student.
