Riggs Easterling is a 2019 SS/2B/3B with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Shreveport, LA who attends Loyola College Prep. Medium athletic build with some strength and more to come. 6.81 runner, has athletic actions in the infield defensively with lots of bounce in his step, has range and can make plays off his feet, good footwork throwing and can throw on the run, arm strength may be more ideal for second base. Right handed hitter, hits from an even stance with a big stride into contact, very aggressive hitter who is looking to attack fastballs, creates some bat speed with quick wrists and hands, hits the ball to all fields and can get some jump off the barrel. Uses his speed very well on the bases, same aggressive approach with his speed as with his swing, looking to take the extra base. Very good student.
