Bryan Moreira is a 2007 2B/3B with a 5'7'', 155 lb. frame from Virginia Beach, Virginia, who attends First Colonial HS. Moreira has present strength in his body with a mature look while maintaining a live body. Defensively he has good actions on the infield. Moreira has soft hands and fields the ball out front well. He also has nice footwork with solid range. Moreira has an accurate arm with a quick release, and shows body control on slow rollers. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from a balanced stance with a toe tap trigger. He has a compact swing staying short to the ball. He is an aggressive hitter early in the count, especially on the first pitch. His line drive swing plane allows him to make consistent contact from gap to gap. Moreira stays balanced through his swing. He is a good student as well.
