Nick English is a 2023 C/3B with a 5-10 195 lb. frame from Olathe, KS who attends Olathe South. He has a medium frame with an athletic build and present strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 6.84 seconds. Primary catcher that starts slightly open and in an athletic stance. He has clean footwork and a quick, chest high transfer. He has a short arm action and has nice whip in his motion. At the plate he starts in a narrow stance with low hands and a low back elbow. He has a toe tap trigger and stays upright throughout his swing. He has natural power due to his strength, and will be able to create even more pop off the bat by utilizing his lower half more. He shows good barrel control, making loud contact to all parts of the field. Good student. Named to the Summer Midwest Workout Top Prospect List.
