Callum Burton is a 2020 SS/2B/3B with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends The John Cooper. Slender athletic middle infielder's build with room to get stronger. Twitchy athlete who is light on his feet and quick in all his actions, 6.77 in the sixty at the Sunshine South Showcase at the beginning of the summer. Has fundamentally sound actions in the middle infield, moves quickly side to side, has quick hands and a quick release on his throws, can throw from multiple arm slots, has good timing and footwork, best suited for second base at the next level but quickness and release work at shortstop as well. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a short and quick hands driven swing, high contact type of approach that is consistent and well executed, line drive contact to all fields.
