Tag Allen is a 2020 OF/RHP with a 6-0 205 lb. frame from Duncan, OK who attends Marlow. Showed excellent speed and athleticism, running a 6.69 second sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder with an athletic frame that has present strength. Fits a corner outfield profile, showing a clean and deliberate approach to the ball, fielding off the front foot and transitioning into the throwing motion. Has a big gather and shuffle into throws, with a long action in the back and clean arm path to a high three-quarter slot to throw. Shows present arm strength, making accurate throws to bases at 87 miles per hour. Has a narrow stance at the plate, with a big leg kick trigger and direct path to contact. Shows some present bat speed, recording a 93 mile per hour exit velocity during testing. Flashes some jump to and through the pull side gap, using quick hands and good barrel feel to create consistent hard contact. Good student. Named to 2019 South Prospect Showcase, Top Prospect List.
