Bruce Garcia is a 2019 2B/SS with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Sabana Grande, PR who attends Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy. Recorded a 6.96 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with a very lean and athletic frame with room for projection. Primary second baseman with very good athleticism and actions to project at shortstop. Clean and quick hands with a lower arm slot and very good accuracy. Excellent feel for the position with good fluidity and arm strength recorded up to 79 mph across the diamond. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and a small leg lift trigger forward. Longer path with some bat speed through extension. Can work to the entire field with good contact skills. Good student. Named to the 2019 World Uncommitted Top Prospect List. Verbal commitment to Eastern Florida State.
