Cole McGonigal is a 2021 OF/LHP, 1B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Montclair, NJ who attends Seton Hall Preparatory. Recorded a 6.82 second 60-yard dash. Long and lanky frame. Primary outfielder, plays through the ball well, longer arm action to over the top slot, shows decent arm strength and carry with accurate throws. Secondary left-handed pitcher, elongated and easy operation, stays on line and gets good extension to the plate, full arm action creates plane on the fastball with some cutting action to the glove side, hides it well in the back, shows feel for a curveball out of 1/7 shape. Left-handed hitter, strong hands, creates good bat speed, gets the barrel out well with strength at contact, turns the barrel over well to drive to the pull side with good separation from the body, good jump off the barrel. Outstanding student. Verbal commitment to Pennsylvania.
