Anthony Matteis is a 2021 C/RHP, 1B, 3B with a 5-9 195 lb. frame from Manalapan, NJ who attends Manalapan HS. Recorded a 7.42 second 60-yard dash time. Strong build with well-proportioned physicality throughout. Primary catcher with simple mechanics and replaces feet very well. Arm is very good recorded up to 78 mph with a best pop time of 1.95 seconds. Good accuracy and throws come out of the hand well. Secondary righthanded pitcher who throws exclusively from the stretch. Long arm action with a high three-quarters arm slot. Curveball showed some two-plane shape and lands it for strikes. Arm talent stands out. Righthanded hitter with a slightly open stance, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Shows good bat speed with hand quickness. Creates lift off the barrel and has a simple, repeatable stroke with strength at contact. Great student. Named to the Uncommitted Main Event TP List.
