Cole Phillips is a 2018 OF/IF with a 6-2 198 lb. frame from Trion, GA who attends Trion HS. Large frame with good present physicality and well-proportioned strength throughout. Primary outfielder with a short arm action. Athletic actions who throws from a lower arm slot. Secondary infielder with a whippy arm and clean exchange. Third base actions with quickness to hands and moves well. Lefthanded hitter with a spread open stance to start. Big hitch that functions as a timing mechanism. Lower hand set with good bat speed. Swings hard and the ball jumps off the bat. Naturally lofted swing plane with legitimate home run power in the swing and frame. Strength plays extremely well through the barrel head; recorded exit velocity up to 87 mph.
