Tarrus Garrett is a 2021 RHP/ with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Mason, OH who attends Kings. Recorded a 7.17 sixty-yard dash time. Slender, medium frame with plenty of room to fill out. Primary right-handed pitcher, fairly simple operation with small side step into a slightly higher leg lift and efficient, online direction down the mound. Higher three-quarters arm slot with long, full arm circle and present arm speed. Fastball worked in the 78-82 range while showing the ability to command both sides of the plate fairly well with occasional arm-side life through the zone, mixing in and landing slurve shaped breaking ball with depth. Changeup is better secondary at present, garnering swing-and-miss and flashing replicated arm speed and fade. Right-handed hitter, fairly simple operation with inside hand path, elongated and elevated swing path. Middle-to-opposite field approach with developing bat-to-ball skills and occasional barrel accuracy. Secondary outfielder with developing defensive skill set, using deliberate actions into and through the fielding process, lower arm slot with arm strength recorded up to 80 miles per hour. Will continue to improve with the addition of strength and proper swing adjustments. Good Student.
