Seth Farni is a 2023 OF/LHP with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Long Beach, MS who attends St. Stanislaus. Large frame with an athletic build showing a sturdy lower half. Ran a 6.64 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder, shorter strides as he works into the baseball under control. Scoops it up and works into transfer. Whip to the arm as he released from a higher slot. Generates carry and was accurate to the bag as he threw it 91 mph during drills. Switch Hitter, from the right-side, starting even with high hands. Leg lift trigger before striding out. Stays short to the baseball as he looks to stay inside of it. Intent in the cut and proved he could drive it well over the fence when timed up properly. From the left-side, similar pre-pitch routine as he utilizes a bigger leg load. Looseness to the swing as he is much more instinctual on this side. Squared it up and drove it around the park as he took a solid round. Great Student. Verbal commitment to Ole Miss.
