Trevor Brooks is a 2020 C with a 5-10 147 lb. frame from Melissa, TX who attends Melissa. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build showing some further room to fill. Ran a 7.78 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher sitting well in his stance with great feel for the plate. Spots up on the corners and steals strikes with soft hands. Very quick transfers as he gains ground on throws. Blocks the baseball well and shows advanced feel for the position. Righthanded hitter starting from a balanced stance while sitting in legs. Hands get deep before showing a linear swing path. Looks to pull the baseball but can cut it down and spray the baseball on a line the other way. Pull-side power showing as well. Found the barrel often in games creating loud wood in each at-bat. Outstanding Student.
