Isaac Luevano is a 2018 SS/RHP with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from South Pasadena, CA who attends South Pasadena. Luevano has a smaller frame with a lean build. Defensively he showed clean actions on the infield and worked around the baseball well. He has clean hand actions and quick transfers. Luevano throws with a compact arm action and showed developing arm strength up to 74 MPH. At the plate he starts with an upright stance and slightly open. Luevano uses a leg lift trigger to start his swing and has a linear lower half. He has some looseness to his swing and gets coiled at load. He keeps his hands inside the ball and looked to lift the baseball. He showed some bat speed and repeated his swing well. Luevano flashed the ability to turn the barrel and work to the pullside with some pop. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot and gets some run on his fastball. He also threw an 11/5 curveball for strikes. Good student.
