Noel Perez is a 2019 2B/3B, SS with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Chula Vista, CA who attends Otay Ranch HS. Recorded a 7.77 second 60-yard dash time. Younger frame and look with plenty of time left for physicality to be added. Primary second baseman with arm strength recorded up to 78 mph. Short, sure steps to the baseball with clean hands. Fluidity to actions and some balance to his movements. Lefthanded hitter with a slightly open stance. High hand set and a high back elbow. Short and direct path to the ball with quickness to hands. Gets the barrel through the zone well with a repeatable swing path. Contact-oriented approach. Linear and even swing plane with a spray contact approach. Good barrel skills and can work to all fields well. Great student.
