Liam McMurray is a 2021 3B/RHP, 1B, OF with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from North Tonawanda, NY who attends North Tonawanda HS. Liam is a solidly built, strong, and athletic player who has the skill that should allow him to play at the next level. In addition to being a solid prospect for advancement, Liam is also a sound student in the classroom. He ran a 7.42 60 yard dash. A primary infielder, Liam shows consistent footwork which allows him to position well and play through the ball. His glove is sure and he transitions well. His 88 mph throwing velocity is impressive. His throws are firm and routinely accurate. In the OF, Liam plays with a more deliberate style. He approaches the fielding action with measured glove work and transitions routinely. His 85 mph throws show decent carry and accuracy. At the plate, Liam shows advanced ability. He uses a big coil and solid lower half release which allows his quick trigger and powerful lower half to add to his power potential. He has a sound ability to get his barrel to a plus contact point. He has a true slugger's lift when he strikes the ball. Liam has the physical make-up and natural ability to be a middle of the order hitter as he progresses.
