Trent Caraway is a 2023 SS/RHP/IF with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Dana Point, CA who attends Santa Margarita Catholic. Outstanding young athletic build with good present strength and room for plenty more. Right handed hitter, hits from a balanced spread start with a leg raise trigger that isn't always timed up, has big raw bat speed and plenty of barrel whip, gets the ball in the air consistently with big jump off the barrel, tons of power projection. 6.79 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, works well through the ball, can get a bit tall at the ball, versatile arm slots with big carry when he's on top of his throws. Also worked out in the outfield and showed huge carry and easy actions at that position. Has all the tools. Good student, verbal commitment to Oregon State. Named to the WWBA Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.
