Nick Wilson is a 2019 SS/2B with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Fremont, CA who attends Irvington. Medium frame with slender, athletic present build; good projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.09 seconds. Sets up to hit from upright, even-based stance with high back elbow. Shifts well into contact with linear lower half directionality, shows good bat speed with the ability to get the barrel out consistently and on time, consistently squared up the baseball and will continue to drive it better and better as he gains strength. Worked out defensively in the infield, showed good athleticism through actions, worked to both sides cleanly with good range, clean funnel out front with hands, showed ability to throw accurately across the diamond from multiple arm slots. Clocked up to 71 mph across. Excellent student.
