Giovanni Davila is a 2020 2B/3B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Romeoville, IL who attends Joliet Catholic Academy. Medium frame with athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.79 seconds. Hits from even-based stance, front hip opens up a bit early into stride, shows good intent and swings the bat hard, leg lift trigger, covers the plate well and shows ability to work the opposite way, flashes strength. Worked out in the infield, shows good footwork with balance, short choppy steps with balance, hands work okay out front, worked through the ball well, clocked up to 80 mph on throws. Very good student.
