Cade Sitka is a 2019 RHP/C/3B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Richmond, TX who attends Foster High School. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a strong but projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Primary righthanded pitcher, leg lift up to belt with high hand raise in unison, short and quick arm action through the back working to a three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 88 mph, short cut to glove side and projects for additional velocity with additional lower half, lives away from righthanded hitters. Mixes curveball well and shows 12-6 shape at 74 mph, feel for the pitch developed well throughout. Solid arm strength behind plate with low carry down to second base, receives the ball out front with full and quick arm action, overall footwork will continue to develop. Fields the ball out front in infield, arm strength and carry plays well at third base, quick arm, works through throws. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate with an open stance, gets closed moving into contact. Utilizes a leg lift trigger, loads hands back at start of swing, gets the barrel through the zone, upper cut swing path but able to generate leverage out front and carry when squared up. Very good student.
