Christopher Sims is a 2018 C with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from El Paso, TX who attends Eastwood HS. Very nice athletic build, strong and wiry with plenty of room for more strength. Very consistent and fundamentally sound mechanics behind the plate, polished footwork and the ability to repeat his actions, makes accurate on line throws, 2.02 in drills with game actions. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a simple shift into contact, exaggerated inside hand path with pre-positioned hands, opposite field approach, has the strength to create more bat speed and learn to drive the ball with adjustments. Outstanding student.
