Jon Kubas is a 2019 OF/ with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from New Providence, NJ who attends New Providence. Medium frame with long limbs and wiry strength. Primary outfielder with smooth paced, deliberate footwork while closing to the baseball. Maintains momentum to target while working through pick up and displayed efficient exchanges. Released from a high three-quarters arm slot producing accurate carry to the bag at 77 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a crouched, slightly closed stance and simple leg lift trigger. Clean hand path to baseball with a line drive barrel plane through extension. Flashed solid strength at contact while employing a mid field approach. Flashed the ability to turn barrel to contact and generate good carry to the pull side gap. Very good student as well.
