Trevin Hope is a 2018 RHP with a 6-6 185 lb. frame from Blaine, WA who attends Lynden HS. Extra-large frame with long, lean present build; excellent physical projection remaining. Shows long, loose arm stroke through the back up to high three quarters arm slot with easy acceleration, extends well through release and creates good downhill plane to the plate. Arm speed is very good. Fastball worked in the 81-85 MPH velocity range, good balance through delivery, did a good job filling up the zone with fastball. Showed curveball with 11/5 shape and big, sharp break. Projects very well as bat-missing pitch. Showed feel for changeup as well with straighter action but good arm speed and deception out of the hand. Great size with easy arm action and projectable three pitch mix. Named to 2016 Northwest Showcase Top Prospect List.
