Jake Snyder is a 2019 RHP with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from Bellevue, WA who attends O'Dea HS. Big and strong athletic build, stands out physically for a sophomore. High 3/4's arm slot, compact arm action in back with good extension out front to release, will drop his arm slot to low 3/4's at time. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, mostly straight with occasional arm side running action, more velocity there with additional physical maturity. Slider is a solid second pitch, has feel for locating the pitch, has a sweeping break with some depth and bite to it. Should continue to develop in all areas. Good student.
