Nate Butcher is a 2018 SS/RHP with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Seattle, WA who attends Seattle Prep. Slender young athletic build, projects well physically. Strong well rehearsed fundamentals defensively, has good footwork and balance through the ball with a quick transfer and release, makes very accurate throws with some carry, will need to improve foot quickness for the next level but has the actions. Left handed hitter, open stance with a big stride into contact, has good hand quickness, gets to the contact point on time, mid field approach with some gap power and more to come as he gets stronger. Skilled player who should keep improving as he physically matures.
