Donavan Yelle is a 2019 OF/RHP/SS with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Renton, WA who attends Tahoma HS. Medium frame with a slender build and room to fill out. Ran a 7.41 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary outfielder. Athleticism to the ball with a funnel off to the side. Low and on line carry with strength in arm topping out at 92 miles per hour. Also worked out from the infield. Shuffles laterally with deliberate footwork at close. Fields low through the ball with a funnel to the body. Throws from a compact three-quarter slot. Developing accuracy with carry across at 86 miles per hour. Switch hitter at the plate with a spread stance from both sides. Lifted path through the zone with a pull side approach. Has bat speed through swing. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a short side step delivery into medium leg lift. Medium arm circle into a three-quarters slot. Deliberate pace with a fluid and repeatable delivery. Feel for pitches able to fill the zone. Fastball topping out at 81 miles per hour and able to land a short slider for strikes. Good student as well. Named to the 2018 Northwest Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
