Spencer Bullock is a 2019 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Ventura, CA who attends Foothill Technology. Large frame with long limbs and a lean build. Projects to support additional size with strength. Primary right handed pitcher with a simple side step to medium leg lift delivery. Stays tall and created coil over back leg at gather. Lands slightly open with front side but carries momentum through finish well. Loose arm circle at take back and released from a three-quarters slot. Fastball comes out of hand cleanly creating heavy running action to the arm side in the low 80's, topped at 83 miles per hour. Curveball had 11/5 shape with tighter spin and good depth in the low 70's. Consistently filled the strike zone while effectively changing speeds. Also worked out defensively from the infield and first base showing loose, smooth paced footwork. Funnels out front and works to a taller throwing position. Released from an extended three-quarters slot generating carry to the bag, topped at 80 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a spread, open stance and large toe tap trigger. Deep hand load and worked to contact on a loose, extended path. Slightly lifted barrel plane through extension. Utilized a mid field to pull side approach showing a quick barrel path in and out of the zone. Flashed some jump off the barrel when on time to the pull side gap. Very good student. Named to the 2017 California Underclass Showcase, Top Prospect List.
