Kevin Santana is a 2018 LHP/ with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Corona, CA who attends Norco. Santana has a medium sized frame with a slender body. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a long arm circle in back. Santana has an easy arm action through and has some arm speed. He uses a big leg kick to get to balance point and drives his hips towards the plate well. He has an easy delivery and showed the ability to repeat it. Santana threw his fastball at 79-82 MPH with good run on it. He located his fastball down in the zone consistently. He threw a 1/7 curveball with late breaking depth to it. Santana also threw a change up at 71 MPH with a lot of late movement on it. He threw 3 pitches for strikes and induced a lot of bad swings and at bats. Santana showed pitchability and carved hitters up for 4 innings. Excellent student.
